Birth and Breastfeeding 101

June 13th

Meet Hayley Ferut RN, BSN, IBCLC

Breastfeeding doesn't have to look a certain way. It's not always "easy" or "natural". I am passionate about helping you meet YOUR personal goals even if they don't look like other plans or they change a few times.  Motherhood and feeding your baby is not a one-size-fits-all experience. Let's enjoy mothering and feeding our babies however that happens to be!

  • "I highly recommend Hayley for lactation care! She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, open to vulnerability, and all other things that a postpartum/breastfeeding mama would need. Hayley has been so supportive and helpful throughout my breastfeeding journey. I'm so grateful she was a part of it!"

  • "I cannot recommend Hayley enough as my lactation consultant! She is so calming and easy to work with, and she really took the time to get to know my family and our needs at every visit. Whether it was help with latching, pumping, or anything in between, Hayley was there to guide me through the process and empower me to feel confident in breastfeeding my son. I'm so grateful to have had her help every step of the way!"

  • "My sister recommended I reach out to Kristian and Hayley at Northshore Lactation Connections, now known as Blessed Beginnings. At five days old we were struggling to latch and even if we did latch we struggled to have a successful feeding. After the first two weeks working with Hayley we finally started latching! Within a week I had developed severe nipple trauma, due to a tongue and lip tie. Once again Hayley was there to help me heal and provided me with an excellent pediatric dentist for the frenectomy. Immediately after the procedure I was able to nurse my baby pain free! I told Hayley, "this is what it's supposed to feel like. My nipple is floating in his mouth.” Thank you Hayley for assisting me with my breastfeeding journey."
